Where does pain come from?

There are many reasons chronic pain develops which range from an initial injury that becomes worse insidiously over time to weakness in the muscle of a joint that causes instability. Regardless of the type and location of pain, our bodies respond to injuries by sending “smoke signals and fire alarms.”
